What this number covers

27,547 recorded all-time Steam peak. Source: SteamCharts; page read 2026-10-09 18:03:41.003 UTC. This is the tracker’s record, separate from the current official reading.

Valve returns the current player count for Steam app 1237970. This is the number of players concurrently counted on Steam, not daily unique players or a total across every platform. It does not show how many are in a match, your region or your matchmaking queue. This page has no all-platform total.

How many players still play Titanfall 2?

The count at the top is a dated official Steam reading for app 1237970. Open this page or choose Refresh count to request a fresh reading. It does not include a separate EA, Xbox or PlayStation population. Source: Valve documentation, checked 10 October 2026.

Is Titanfall 2 multiplayer still alive?

A positive Steam reading establishes that players are active in the app at that time. The Steam store lists both single-player and online PvP. The count response contains no mode, region, server or queue fields, so it cannot establish how busy multiplayer is in your region or how long a match takes to find. Sources: official Steam store and Valve documentation, checked 10 October 2026. Inference: app activity supports an active Steam audience, but no conclusion about matchmaking follows from a response without those fields.

Steam app activity is measured; mode, region, matchmaking queues and other platforms are not returned.

Readings taken during this visit

The first row is our published snapshot. When this page opens, it asks Valve for a new count through this site's endpoint. Each successful read adds a row with its own UTC retrieval time, including when the count is unchanged. Rows stay in this visit only and reset if the page reloads. They are not a daily peak, monthly average or long-term history.

How to check and keep a reading

  1. Read the count with its UTC time and Steam-only scope.
  2. Choose Refresh count to request another official reading. If Valve cannot be reached, the last successful value keeps its original time and is labelled as the last successful reading.
  3. Choose Download readings (CSV) to save the published snapshot and successful reads from this visit with their timestamps, app ID, scope and source.

The CSV contains Shooter Atlas's own API reads. It contains no copied tracker history.

Published snapshot only: 907 Steam players at 00:15:01.000 UTC on 19 October 2026, independently read from Valve. This image retains that reading after the live count changes.
Open the page, request an official count, append the response with its UTC time, then download this visit's readings as CSV.

Source and method

Method

Official source: Valve Steam Web API, ISteamUserStats/GetNumberOfCurrentPlayers/v1. App ID: 1237970. This site's server validates Valve's response and records the time after it arrives. Each request uses a unique parameter; the response is not cached.

Endpoint

Official endpoint, shown as text: https://api.steampowered.com/ISteamUserStats/GetNumberOfCurrentPlayers/v1/?appid=1237970

Limitations

Without JavaScript, the first screen still shows the last published count with its retrieval time. If a live request fails, that value retains its original time; the page does not substitute an estimate.
